Hi, my name is April. I'm an American currently living and teaching English in Japan.

I find that I can only write when I'm high on life. Consequently, this blog accidentally became a scrapbook of inspired-filled things. Inspiration is fleeting, unpredictable, and powerful. Inspiration is that feeling you get when you're like, "damn, this is why I'm alive", or "damn, humans are capable of so much good". Inspiration is what takes you by surprise and convinces you that can do more than you ever thought possible. Motivation and discipline are important--they're your bread and butter; but inspiration is dessert. It's undeserved and mysterious. This blog is a keepsake box of inspirational things, events, and people.
